Arunabha Banerjee has joined National Law University, Jodhpur, as an Assistant Professor, Law, after a stint of a little over 6 years with Thomson Reuters Legal Managed Services (TR-LMS) where he last served as an Assistant Manager with the Regulatory Mapping & Compliance Solutions Team. In addition to earning numerous awards for professional excellence at TR-LMS, Arunabha also became a certified trainer and interviewer and ably managed complex legal research and compliance projects. He has consistently trained and mentored his team members on the nuances of legal research and writing during his time in the organization. Arunabha completed his L.L.M (Business Law) at Amity University, Kolkata, with a First Division with Distinction to his credit. He was also the recipient of the All Round Best Student and Best Mentor Award for sustained academic excellence during L.L.M. Arunabha has authored several research articles for esteemed national journals like Taxmann, Journal of Intellectual Property Rights etc. on diverse legal issues encompassing transfer pricing, taxability of cross border e-commerce transactions, morality of copyright etc. He has also presented research papers and participated in numerous national conferences/seminars/workshops. Other than his specialization business law subjects, Arunabha’s areas of interest include intellectual property rights and legal theory.
