Dr. Gargi Chakrabarti is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law at National Law University, Jodhpur. She is also the Chair Coordinator of the Ministry of Human Resource Development Chair on IP at the university. Her expertise lies in intellectual property, cyber law and environmental law.
Dr. Chakrabarti has presented papers at several international and national conferences, including the Works-in-Progress Conference, 2016, at Singapore Management University, International Conference on Management of Intellectual Property Rights and Strategy, 2012, and the 10th Asian Law Institute (ASLI) Annual Conference. She has published a paper on Intermediary Liability and Hate Speech for the University of Washington Online Intermediary Liability Research Project. She has also written chapters for several books on intellectual property.
Dr. Chakrabarti has completed her Ph.D. in Intellectual Property Law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. She holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Calcutta, an M. Phil from NLSIU, Bangalore, and a Masters degree from London Metropolitan University.
